Elena Akimoto
My name is Elena Akimoto and I am the Assistant Director of UCDD. I have been working at UCDD since August 1998. I started my career here as a Teacher Assistant and have held several positions in my years with the program. I have enjoyed my time spent at UCDD and am grateful for everything I have gained from working with our special families. Throughout my time here I have learned so much from clients, students, and staff. My hope is that the program can continue to provide an excellent quality of service to the community. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time at the softball fields with my husband and our three daughters.
