What are my options with NDI?

You may:

• Continue all discretionary deductions (This will be done automatically unless otherwise advised).
• Continue your medical, dental, and/or vision plans. (If you do, the State Employer contribution will also continue).
• Be required to submit to an independent medical examination.
• Decide to use accumulated vacation balance prior to receiving NDI benefits in order to retain full salary. (If so, you must exhaust your vacation leave balance prior to receiving NDI benefits).
