If you suspect your identity has been stolen...

If you suspect your identity has been stolen, you should immediately place a fraud alert with all of the major credit bureaus and request a credit report.  Here are some practical steps to take. 

The FTC has created a “one stop” web site to assist victims of identity theft. There’s specific instructions, guides & a support team assisting victims in recovering from identity theft.
