Can't connect to Eduroam? (Troubleshoot)

TroubleShoot for the following:



  1. Select Settings
  2. Wi-Fi 
  3. Select and hold your finger on eduroam
  4. Select forget network.

iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Wi-Fi
  3. Select the info icon next to eduroam
  4. Select Forget this Network

If you are still having issues: 

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select the WiFi option  
  3. Turn off Ask to join networks

Mac Laptop

  1. Go to System Preferences 
  2. Select Network
  3. Select Wifi on the left of the page
  4. Select the Advanced button
  5. Select eduroam from the network list
  6. Click on the minus button (-) to remove it from the list
  7. Select OK
  8. Select Apply

If you are still having issues:

  1. Go to System Preferences 
  2. Select Network 
  3. Select WiFi
  4. Uncheck Ask to join networks

  1. Select the Settings 
  2. Select the WiFi option
  3. In the list of Known networks, press and hold eduroam
  4. Select Delete

Windows 10:

  1. Open Settings and then click or tap Network & Internet
  2. Click or tap Wi-Fi and then from the right pane, click or tap Manage Wi-Fi settings
  3. Scroll down to the Manage known networks section
  4. Select eduroam and click or tap Forget

Windows 8:

  1. Access Settings
  2. Select the Wireless icon
  3. Right-click on eduroam network
  4. Choose Forget this Network

Windows 7: 

  1. Go to the Start Menu 
  2. Open / begin typing ...Control Panel 
  3. Select Network and Internet 
  4. Open Network and Sharing Center
  5. Choose Manage Wireless Networks from the options on the left
  6. Highlight the eduroam network from the list and choose Remove
