This group is open to all genders and takes place on the Counseling
side of the Health Center building.

Stop the Stalking (twice)

Thursday, January 10th, 2019

12:00-1:00 pm | Meeting Center, Pine Room
AND
6:00-7:00 pm | Coyote Village Multi-purpose Room

This workshop will focus on the 5 types of stalkers, the effects of stalking, and
resources for survivors  through interactive activities and group discussion.
This event will have pizza and it satisfies the mandatory yearly End Sexual
Violence Training requirement--bring your Coyote ID.

K(no)w More: A Stalking Awareness Show

Tuesday, January 15th, 2019

2:00-3:30 pm | SMSU Theatre

A peer-driven, live sketch comedy program facilitated by current college
students which focuses on stalking awareness. The show covers what stalking
looks like and what people can do to be active bystanders.

Human Trafficking Awareness Day:
Movie, Survivor Testimony & Panel Discussion

Thursday, January 24th, 2019

2:00-3:50 pm | SMSU Theatre

A documentary highlighting sex trafficking will be shown, after which a
survivor of sex trafficking will provide her testimony. Afterward a panel of
speakers will discuss sex trafficking within the Inland Empire. This event
will have pizza and it satisfies the mandatory yearly End Sexual
Violence Training requirement--bring your Coyote ID.

and the difference between healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationships through

Survivor Speak Out & Ally Training

In this event VOICE Peer Educators and the Campus Advocate train students to be
allies to survivors as well as create a safe space for survivors to tell their testimonies
and share their experiences. First we will begin by defining and identifying what
abuse is, then we will go over dynamics and effects of abuse, do’s and don'ts of
responding to survivors, and finally we will hear from a few featured survivors
before opening the floor for anyone present who wants to share their story. This event
will have pizza and it satisfies the mandatory yearly End Sexual Violence Training
requirement--bring your Coyote ID.

This event is to honor those we have lost due to gun violence. All are invited to come
and bring photos, signs, etc. and speak out against the brutality. We are inviting 
anyone who would like to speak about gun violence or to memorialize anyone you 
have lost to speak at this event, no need to sign up, just show up.
