Palm Desert campus was the latest stop for the Student Affairs Road Show and Tea with the VP on October 13. Students were able to attend both events back-to-back. Tea with the VP took place first at 10 a.m. at Rogers Gateway Lobby, followed by the Road Show at 11 a.m. at Rogers Gateway Courtyard.

At Tea with the VP, students enjoyed light refreshments, learned about what’s going on in Student Affairs, and shared how we can help them succeed at PDC.

Student Affairs was well represented at the Road Show with staff from each department in the division present to share their resources, services, and provide information to students.

The Road Show created a greater awareness about the division and enhanced our presence on campus. The event provided students the opportunity to connect with DSA staff and paraprofessionals and learn more about all of the programs and support available to them through the division.

Students in attendance received a Road Show passport as they checked in to the event and were asked to visit each table to learn more about our departments. They received a stamp or signature on their passport at each stop, and once completed, they turned in their passport to be entered into a drawing to win prizes and received a free box lunch from Subway.

The Division of Student Affairs hosts the Road Show and Tea with the VP at the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses each semester. Check out photos from both events on our Flickr. The next Tea with the VP will be held at the San Bernardino campus on Dec. 6 from 12-1 p.m. at the Santos Manuel Student Union North on the third floor.
