Meet Laura Muñoz

She is the new Desktop Publisher and Graphic Specialist in the Vice President’s Office for Student Affairs. Laura joined the Coyote family in February. In her role, she will promote and advance the mission of the division and its departments by developing artistic, graphic design, and print and multimedia materials. This will include creating promotional materials and event graphics.

Laura is a CSUSB alumni who majored in Marketing and Graphic Design. She transferred to CSUSB after two years at Cal State Long Beach.

“Before I transferred here, it just felt different,” said Laura. “I couldn’t really find my place, but then when I came to Cal State San Bernardino, it just felt natural.”

She worked at CSUSB’s Robert and Frances Museum of Art (RAFFMA) for three years, first as a student assistant before being promoted to a staff member. Laura then left the university to work at The Broad museum before returning.

Laura enjoyed her time at CSUSB as a student and looked forward to the opportunity to come back to campus. According to Laura, she is excited to learn and see a different side of the university as a full-time staff member.
