Looking for a job or internship? Want to attend graduate school? Check out the Career Center’s virtual Career Fair on Oct.  21 from 1-4 p.m. There, you’ll meet top employers and universities looking to fill those roles. The event is open to all CSUSB and PDC students and alumni who are:

  • Exploring career opportunities and looking to network with recruiters
  • Seeking to learn more about various open opportunities with organizations locally and nationwide
  • Wanting to practice their networking and interviewing skills in a live virtual setting

“Whether you are just beginning to explore your career, planning on attending graduate school, or looking to advance to greater levels of reward and responsibility, this virtual career fair may help give you the professional edge as you search for a position in your field,” said Jon Paul Hernandez, Career Center’s Employer Relations Specialist.

There are 22 employers scheduled to attend the event with more being added weekly. The employers include Enterprise, J.B. Hunt Transport, United States Secret Service, Sherwin-Williams, Easterseals, and the Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A.).

Students are encouraged to update their Handshake profile and upload their current resume and cover letter. However, this is not required to attend the event.

The Career Center provides students with opportunities to meet employers and learn about graduate programs throughout the year. Last month the department, in partnership with Student Employment, hosted the inaugural CSUSB Student Employment Virtual Fair for On-Campus Employment - Hire a Coyote! on Aug. 26 utilizing Handshake’s virtual career fair platform. Twenty-one departments and 176 students registered for the event, where 29 group sessions were hosted by hiring departments and 31 student one-on-one interviews were conducted.
