>> The education experience at CSUSB was amazing.  If it wasn't for my time at Cal State San Bernardino, my career would have taken a different direction.  CSUSB's accounting program is taught by professors that have real-world experience, which makes a huge difference when they're working with their students.  That's really what inspired me to move forward in this career.  When I was a student, I was very active in the Accounting Association and also participated with Beta Alpha Psi.  It gave me the opportunities to learn how to network with students and professionals and that's what really led me to where I am today. 

>> I owe CSUSB my entire career.  I don't think I would have been able to get a job without CSUSB's help.  I'm the first one to graduate from college in my family.  I did not know what accounting profession looked like before starting at CSUSB.  Through the education, through the classroom, through the academics that I obtained here that I was able to find my path in public accounting.  It was here where I learned what my opportunities are.  It was here where I built on my academic knowledge so I could pass the CPA exam.  I ended up being a research assistant for two of my professors and we actually ended up writing an article together which was published in the Journal of Accountancy.  My time here at CSUSB really helped launch my career and helped me become the professional woman that I am today.
