>> Diversity is one of the foundations of CSUSB.

I love CSUSB because I felt I could relate with the diverse populations that we have in here.

We have people from all different backgrounds -- from the president, the deans, the faculty, the staff, all the way to our students.

We have first-generation students and many of them are immigrants themselves.

I also love that CSUSB has diversity as one of their goals and that they work
on to provide spaces where students can feel valued for who they are at cultural events,
academic events, campuswide events where the students can participate.

Also, CSUSB has a lot of clubs and student organizations.

An example could be like the Latino Club where we create cultural events
and academic campuswide events where students can express their identity and their cultures and they can grow also in a safer space,
not only in the classroom but outside the classroom walls.
