Theatre Arts Isabel Pena Student Feature final

My name is Isabel Pena and my major is 
Theater Arts with an emphasis and
Technical leader the stage management

Fellowship that I received is part of
the Kennedy Center American Theater Arts
Festival I got a scholarship and an
opportunity to participate in a Broadway

Symposium having been the first CSUSB
student to win this Fellowship is to me
is pretty incredible because this school
has been around for a while I feel like

I made a big impression for the
Department everyone is seriously so
happy about it one of my big aspirations
and goals is to get a master's in stage

management for me I think it's really
important because stage management is
mostly a male dominated industry we
pretty much get to have a hands-on

experience pretty much doing anything
and everything that we have learned
throughout the year so a lot of students
are able to deal with their profession

consists of and a lot of the faculty
have experience within professional
theater companies and employees so they
also give us that information needed to

know if we want to go on what I would
tell a prospective CSUSB student about
the can numbers is that it's a great
opportunity to experience anything that

you want and what can set your mind to
it's ultimately encouraging and a lot of
the faculty here will help you achieve your goals
