[ Music ] California State University San Bernardino Arjun Mann, Student, Biology >> My family comes from India. And in Punjabi culture, there's a lot of festivals. We have a lot of traditions that we like to keep up-to-date. And it really helped when I came to Cal State San Bernardino and there was an Indian student organization and I really felt at home. The representation here at CSUSB is really awesome because we have a large department of diversity and inclusion where no matter who you identify with, it's always accepted and you could really be who you want to be. I'm involved on campus in the Asian & Pacific Islander Center. I plan events to spread knowledge about the community and just about different Asian and Pacific Islander cultures. I get to put on programs like Taste of India which is a large-scale event that really shows the community about Indian culture. One thing about it is that it's not only people from my community that come. We get so much support from other students that just want to learn more, and I also get a large amount of support from the faculty and staff. When I realized I was accepted into CSUSB, I was honestly so happy and excited because I knew that this is where I really wanted to go. I really wanted to come to CSUSB because of the welcoming environment. And I had also looked into the biology program here, and I knew how amazing it was so it really made a big difference. I love being a biology major at CSUSB because honestly we have such amazing professors. And I think they are the reason why I've been able to learn so much because they are really good at what they do. After graduation, I would definitely like to continue my education in the natural sciences. My name is Arjun Mann. I love CSUSB and I'm a coyote for life. [ Howling ] We Define the Future CSUSB
