Bio
I would like to start by providing you a little background information on myself. I started my college career at a community college (Victor Valley College). After receiving my Associates, I transferred to Cal State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) where I majored in psychology. Upon completing a few courses in biological psychology, I was hooked and decided to further my education at CSUSB earning a Bachelor's in psychology and a Master's degree in general experimental psychology (concentration in physiology). During my graduate program, I had the wonderful opportunity to teach at the university level and work in the physiology lab. This experience spurred my interest to explore clinical neuropsychology which is the field in which I performed my thesis. In addition to working in the field of psychophysiology and performing research at VVC for nearly twenty years, I have also taught at the collegiate level nearly every term since graduation. My teaching career has taken me to VVC, Riverside Community College, Chapman University, Brandman University, Park University, Azusa Pacific University and CSUSB. The incentives to teaching are that I am able to teach the subjects in which I find most interesting and the fact that I can bring my real world experience as a researcher into the classroom for my students to learn.
