Research and Teaching Interests

I am generally interested in research that addresses issues related to gender and diversity in workplace, with an emphasis on understanding the role of contextual and social-cognitive factors. This has included research on diversity management, women’s advancement, the intersection of work and family, among other areas. I also have interests in organizational creativity and innovation, with a particular focus on the role of context in defining and explaining creative processes and outcomes. Most of my research time in the last three years has been spent directing the Work.Family.Life project, which is an applied research and intervention project addressing the work and familiy challenges faced by low-income workers and their families.

Diversity Management, gender issues in the workplace, motivation, contextual influences in organizational behavior, creativity in the workplace.
