Eligibility Requirements

  • 60 semester (90 quarter) units of transferrable coursework taken at a community college or regionally accredited university
  • Completion of lower-division general education requirements, including CSU History, Constitution and American Ideals requirement. For more information on the General Education requirements, please visit the CSUSB Bulletin - General Education Program.
  • 2.7 minimum GPA
  • Completion of the two prerequisite courses: Introduction to the Criminal Justice System and Introduction to Criminal Law (the CSUSB equivalents to CJUS 1101 and CJUS 1102, respectively). Both courses must be completed with a grade of "C" (2.0) or better. 
  • Submit Application on Cal State Apply.  The fee to apply to the CSU is $70 per campus.  

Program Start Dates

Beginning Fall Semester 2020, the Criminal Justice Online program will offer two sessions of seven-week courses. We will accept students every Fall and Spring semester.
