Anthony Silard

Dr. Anthony Silard, Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, California State University San Bernardino Dr. Silard holds a Ph.D. in leadership from IESE Business School, which he received with First-Class/Excellent Distinction. He is the CEO of The Global Leadership Institute and the President of The Center for Social Leadership. His research topics include leadership emotion regulation and management, nonprofit leadership and management research interpersonal, communication, loneliness in organizations, quality of workplace relationships interests and managing secondary trauma in organizations.  As a leadership trainer, Dr. Silard has coached thousands of CEOs and senior executives of Fortune 100 companies, small businesses and the world’s largest nonprofits such as GE, Disney, Nokia, Bank of America, IBM, CARE, Save the Children, The United Way and the American Red Cross. He has also coached political leaders, including G-20 cabinet ministers. 

Roy Baumeister

Dr. Roy Baumeister Professor, School of Psychology, University of QueenslandDr. Baumeister is a social psychologist who is known for his work on the self, social rejection, belongingness, sexuality and sex differences, self-control, self-esteem, self-defeating behaviors, motivation, aggression, consciousness, and free will. Dr. Baumeister earned his Ph.D. from Princeton University. He has researched social psychology for over four decades and made a name for himself with his laboratory research.

Dr. Jeffrey Brudney, Betty and Dan Cameron Family Distinguished Professor of Innovation in the Nonprofit Sector, University of North Carolina Wilmington Department of Public & International AffairsDr.Brudney earned his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. His research topics include, nonprofit management, public service delivery, research methods and statistics and volunteering and volunteer programs. Dr. Brudney is a professor, and Betty and Dan Cameron Family Distinguished Professor of Innovation in the Nonprofit Sector, University of North Carolina Wilmington, Department of Public and International Affairs. 

Peter Harms

Peter Harms

Dr. Peter Harms | Culverhouse College of Business, University of Alabama Dr. Harms received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  His research focuses on the assessment and development of personality, leadership, and psychological well-being.  Dr. Harms has published over 90 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier outlets as Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, Psychological Review, and Leadership Quarterly.  He also serves as an editor at both Research in Occupational Stress and Well-Being and Journal of Managerial Psychology. His research has been featured in popular media outlets such as CNN, Scientific American, Forbes, and the BBC.  Dr. Harms was selected as one of the '100 Knowledge Leaders of Tomorrow' in 2011.  He currently serves on the scientific advisory board of Hogan Assessment Systems and has engaged in research partnerships with the U.S. Army, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and the U.S. Department of Labor. 

Erica Lizano

Dr. Erica Lizano, School of Social Work, California State University FullertonDr.Lizano is an Assistant Professor at California State University, San Bernardino’s School of Social Work. Dr. Lizano’s research interests include employee well-being, vulnerable work populations, diversity management, diversity and inclusion practices within organizations, organizational management and administration in child welfare and human service organizations, workplace performance in child welfare and human service organizations, and policy and program evaluation. Dr.Lizano received her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.

Brad Owens

Dr. Bradley Owens | Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business.Dr. Owens received his Ph.D. in organizational behavior, from the University of Washington. His research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Science, Personnel Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, and Public Administration Review. Under the general umbrella of Positive Organizational Scholarship, his research focuses on the impact of leader humility on individuals and teams, ethical leadership, and relational energy. Dr. Owens teaching interests include business ethics, organizational behavior, and research methodology. 

Michael Stull

Dr. Michael Stull, Professor of Entrepreneurship, Academic Director, Entrepreneurship program (BA & MBA), Director, Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE), California State University San BernardinoDr. Stull has more than 30 years of entrepreneurial and business experience that includes work in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Dr. Stull earned his doctorate in Management from Case Western Reserve University. He also serves as Chair for the Department of Management in the College of Business and Public Administration and academic director for entrepreneurship at CSUSB. He is responsible for program & curriculum management and development, teaching entrepreneurship courses, and overseeing numerous entrepreneurial initiatives.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Sarah Wright

Sarah Wright

Dr. Sarah Wright, University of Canterbury College of Business and LawDr. Wright received her Ph.D. from the University of Canterbury. Dr. Wright’s research interests include emotions in organizations, social relationships in the workplace, loneliness, and human relations. Research interest include loneliness in the workplace, social relationships at work, human relations research, emotions in organizations and organizational climate. She is a senior lecturer at the University of Canterbury College of business and law.
