Grad Student Luis Esparza Accepted to PhD Before Completion of MA

Our graduate student Luis Esparza for being accepted into two, not one, Ph.D. programs: the Mexican American Studies program at the University of Arizona, and the Chicana and Chicano Studies program at the University of New Mexico.

This is the first time in at least 6 years that one of our grad students gets into a doctoral program even before finishing their MA degree. Way to go Luis; we are proud of you and wish you all the best!
