Come to Special Collections (PL-4005, library 4th floor) to research CSUSB history, find information on San Bernardino, or read a comic book! Bring a government-issued photo ID. The librarian on duty during desk hours will ask you to fill out a research application, then help you find the materials you need and bring them out for you to use in the Special Collections Reading Room.

The Water Resources Institute (WRI),Picture has developed a special collection of water data archives for the Salton Sea watershed housed at the California State University San Bernardino, Palm Desert Campus (PDC).

Steele Photo Collection

In 1974 professor Bruce Golden sent Pfau Library Director Art Nelson information on Walter Steele's collection of historical photographs. Over the years Director Nelson purchased over 600 of the photographs for Pfau Library Special Collections.

WWII Japanese Relocation Center and Internment Camp Newspapers

The people interned at the Assembly Centers and the Relocation Camps published their own newspapers. The library has an exhaustive set of these on microfilm, under the title Records of the War Relocation Authority, 1942-1946.
