On March 29, the Womxn’s Leadership Conference featured keynote speaker Helen Tran, the first Asian American mayor for the City of San Bernardino. Tran shared the obstacles she overcame on her journey to office.

Books are given away at the 2019 Multicultural Book and Family Festival at CSUSB. The festival will return to the university on May 11.

“Pippin” tells the story of a young prince who dreams of taking the throne from his father, King Charlamagne the Great. The musical will be on stage on April 26-28 and May 2-5 at CSUSB's Ronald E. Barnes Theatre.

On the April 22 show, Abi Carter was voted one of the Top 10 contestants on "American Idol." Alongside her journey on the show, she unveiled her debut single, “It’s All Love,” on March 29. Carter will next appear on "American Idol" on April 28.

Over 250 presentations and art exhibits will be featured at the Meeting of the Minds Student Research Symposium on April 11.

CSUSB students and alumni are invited to participate as presenters, and faculty and graduate students can serve as moderators and judges at CSUSB's annual Research Week April 8-11.
