Bridge 2022 - Information
Details regarding the summer bridge appointments will be shared during the LEARN conference on Wednesday, May 25 2022 at 11:30AM via the “Student Assistant / FWS Bridge Training 2022” session. The session will be recorded and will be made available to campus. Please contact the CSUSB Staff Development Center if you are interested in further information regarding the LEARN conference.
New Hires
- Student Assistant Employment Transaction Request Form

Students must take required forms to the Student Employment via the Human Resources Lobby located at SH-100. NEW student assistants must bring the following original items to complete the hiring process (no copies/printouts/cell photos):
- Un-laminated Social Security Card and Valid Photo ID (Note: A social security card will not be accepted if card includes the statement "not valid for employment")
OR -
U.S. Birth Certificate and Valid Photo ID
OR -
Valid U.S. Passport
along with any other necessary employment eligibility documentation you may have to provide.
Rehires/Bridge 2022
Students must take required forms to the Student Employment via the Human Resources Lobby located at SH-100.
For Concurrent or rehired student employees, a SSC is not required but the student must bring a valid form of photo identification to submit any documents to Student Employment.

Position updates include: pay rate correction, position number updates, and supervisory updates.

Performance
It is recommended that managers and supervisors complete performance evaluations for student employees and discuss the student’s performance, strengths, and areas needing growth and development.
