2018-2019 Payment Information

The initial application fee is paid through the Housing and Residential Education portal.  All other fees are paid through the student account. All students are responsible for monitoring their student accounts through MyCoyote and ensuring that all payments are made by the due dates.  Student Financial Services posts payments to any past due balances and unpaid tuition and fees prior to posting the payments for housing.  Please be sure that all past due charges have been paid.  

 

HOUSING PREPAYMENT

Students who apply by May 15, 2018 will receive a Village and room type assignment by June 15, 2018.  Students who cannot be placed in their first choice room type, will be provided with information regarding wait lists for desired spaces.  In order to confirm intent to occupy, the student must make the $500 prepayment by June 30, 2018.  Students who apply after May 15, 2018, but prior to June 30, 2018 will receive a Village and room type assignment on or after June 15, 2018 and must make the $500 prepayment within 14 days after the notification email is sent.  Students who apply on or after July 1, 2018 must make the $500 prepayment immediately and prior to move in. 

Students who have paid the $500 prepayment by June 30, 2018 will receive their specific Village and room assignment by August 15, 2018.  Students who do not meet the prepayment deadline may be reassigned to a different room type, depending on wait list for the room type assigned.   

Students who qualify for enough financial aid to pay all of their housing and dining fees may be able to defer their prepayment until the financial aid disburses, if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Student submitted the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 2, 2018.
  • Student EFC (Expected Financial Contribution) is $4000 or less.
  • Student has satisfied all document verification requirements with the Financial Aid office by May 15, 2018.

 

QUARTERLY HOUSING AND MEAL PLAN FEE PAYMENTS

The Department of Housing and Residential Life (DHRE) will place quarterly fees on the student account approximately 2 weeks prior to the beginning of each quarter. Students must make payment for any unpaid balances prior to the move in date for each quarter.  A $10 late payment fee will be added to accounts with balances due for housing and or meal plans after the Total Balance Due date for each quarter.

 

HOW DO I PAY MY QUARTERLY HOUSING FEES?

PAYMENT METHODS:

Online Payment: Submit an electronic payment using the payment link on the “Student Center” of your MyCoyote account. MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa, and electronic check are acceptable means of payment.

Walk-In Payment: Make a cash, check, money order, and/or ATM/debit payment in person at the Student Financial Services office located in University Hall (UH-034). Credit card not accepted.

Mail-In Payment: Make check or money order payable to:
