Note: You must have Microsoft Word installed to use these templates.

Universal Format Pages

This format should be used by all disciplines. The title page and committee page may vary slightly by program. Please see examples below.

Manuscript Template

The manuscript template is a template of the entire document: it can be used to format most theses, projects and dissertations. Most of the required formatting (headings, body text, title page, etc.) is built into the template. However, the template is not foolproof. You should be familiar with the university’s format, available in chapter four of A Guide to Graduate Studies; keep in mind that you will need to format some aspects of your paper yourself.
