To be eligible for federal student aid, a student must meet the following criteria:
- Accepted for Admission and enrolled in an eligible degree or credential program
- Most programs require student show demonstrated financial need · as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Be registered with Selective Service if student is male
- Have a Social Security number
- Have a high school diploma or recognized equivalent requirement
- Not be in default on any student loan or owe a refund on any grant made under the Title IV program
- Meets Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements
- Cannot submit false, misleading or incomplete information to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships
