Black History Month: Celebration of Food & Culture

Join the Movement, Cross Cultural Center, Sodexo, and the Division of Student Affairs in a Celebration of Food and Culture on Thursday February 27th from 12pm-2pm at the Coyote Commons.  Come learn about Black Scholars through tabling. First 100 students to complete their tabling passport will receive a free food voucher for lunch at the Coyote Commons. The Commons will feature Pan-African and Soul food and highlight our locally black-owned business Mommie Helens Bakery.  We hope to see you there!

Celebration of Food and Culture exploring the stories and traditions behind soul food. The event will support a local black-owned business, Mommie Helen's Bakery from San Bernardino, with their pies being served at the Coyote Commons. The event will include tabling by student clubs, organizations and Student Affairs units. The event is sponsored by Sodexo, The Movement, the Cross Cultural Center and the Division of Student Affairs.
