NSF Cyber Corps Scholarship for Service Information Sessions

The Cyber Security Center will be holding information sessions about Scholarship for Service program. If you are an undergraduate freshman or sophmore majoring in Information Systems and Technology, Computer Science, or Criminal Justice we highly encourage you to attend! If you are a graduating senior and are interested in pursuing an MBA, MPA, or MS in cyber security you are also highly encouraged to attend. These information sessions will allow you to get a full scope of what the Scholarship for Service program is all about and how it can benefit you.

We will be holding four information sessions in room JB122 from noon-1PM on 3/13/2018, 3/14/2018, 4/3/2018, and 4/4/2018. If you are not able to physically attend these sessions, not to worry, all sessions will be avaliable on Zoom! We hope to see you in attendance!

CAE Virtual Career Fair

 

Last year the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity hosted the first Virtual Career Fair, sponsored by CyberWatch West and the National Science Foundation, for the students and alumni of CAE designated institutions. A total of 637 students/alumni and 69 employers participated in the career fair with initial survey data indicating the event was well perceived by students/alumni and employers. 

This year the National Centers of Academic Excellence is hosting the second Virtual Career Fair, sponsored by Cyber Watch West and the National Science Foundation, on October 5, 2018, from 9:00am-1:00pm PT. The job fair will connect students from CAE designated schools with employers looking to fill internships, part-time positions, and full-time positions. Each student will be required to upload a resume before attending the CAE Virtual Career Fair.

Students in Cyber Security degrees from schools designated as Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Security (CAE-C), Cyber Defense (CAE-CD), Cyber Operation (CAE-CO) are invited to register at NO COST.

Students in the CSUSB cybersecurity program are invited to Fill Out Our Interest List.
