Lab and Internship CoursesInternship Course (CD 5575)

Students planning on taking CD 5575 should follow these steps:

  1. Enroll in CD 5575 through MyCoyote during your enrollment appointment.
    1. You may not enroll in CD 5575 until you have completed CD 2282, 2292, or CD 4407. Generally, this means you will be taking CD 5575 during your Junior or Senior year.
    2. The CD 5575 course includes both a seminar and clinical section. When you enroll, you will know the time and day of the seminar class immediately, and your practicum site will arranged before the semester begins.
  2. How to select a practicum site:
    1. Roughly two weeks before the Fall semester begins, the instructor will email a list of placement options, which will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Expect to be at your practicum site for about 6 hours each week to fulfil the required hours.

For any additional questions, please email cdinternship@csusb.edu and you will be directed to the appropriate faculty member.
