Career development guides, resources, and tips can be accessed 24/7 via Handshake through MyCoyote by selecting the 'EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES' icon. Once logged in, select 'Career Center' from the top navigation bar and then select 'Resources'

HETS Virtual Plaza is an online resource where students can find helpful tools regarding professional development, standardized testing, financial aid, internships, career assessments, and more. If you are struggling with choosing/changing your major, we encourage you to take the free MBTI assessment through HETS 

Career Assessments

Career assessments are tools for students to help students learn more about themselves through exploring their personality and interests to see how it aligns with career endeavors. These assessments are offered by the career counseling team and are taken online. Career assessment advising appointments are typically 30-minute sessions. Students interested in taking the career assessments are encouraged to come into the career center for an assessment advising appointment or drop-in session to learn more. The Career Center offers the following assessments:Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI): The MBTI is an assessment that uses four components of personality to create a profile that will match your interests to potential majors and careers. Click here to take the abbreviated MBTI.Strong Interest Inventory (SII): The SII is an inventory that identifies personal interests to determine career interests and match you with potential majors and careers.

Interview Stream

Interview Stream is a mock interview website students/alumni can use 24/7 to develop and build up interviewing techniques through a recorded session. With Interview Stream, you are able to practice for upcoming interviews by practicing responding to questions you personally create or utilize preset template interview questions. Once you have completed your recorded interview, students/alumni can send the recording to a counselor or professor to obtain feedback, or simply review independently.
