Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Meeting the Challenge of Prosperity and Equality
HACU - Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Annual Conference
The Career Center at CSUSB offers students the CSUSB HACU Student Track Scholarship, funded by Associated Students Inc. (ASI) and Academic Affairs. As a scholarship recipient, students undergo a rigorous two-day preconference held in September to fully prepare them and be fully sponsored to attend the HACU Annual Conference. In 2017, 39 students attended the national conference in San Diego, CA. As a HACU Scholar, students are assigned a counselor to identify their goals and equip them with the necessary resources and tools to successfully attend the conference. The scholarship also includes all travel/logistics, hotel accommodation and conference registration.
The HACU Annual Conference is a three-day conference, where participants network with over 500 students from colleges and universities across the country. Students may also secure internships and full-time employment as they network with hundreds of potential employers. View the 2018 HACU List of Exhibitors.
Last year, the Career Center proudly awarded 41 students the ‘Student Track Scholarship’ to attend HACU’s 32nd Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA. We encourage all students who are eligible to apply for the CSUSB HACU Annual Conference- Student Track Scholarship Program.
