Scheduling Appointments with Career Counselors
Career counseling is an individualized 30 or 45-minute appointment with a career counselor. These appointments are designed to help students identify personal and professional goals based on their academic and professional interest. Counselors are here to assist students among the individual colleges in all aspects of their journey as they enter the workforce.
Appointment cancellation/no show policy:
In order to be successful, it is important to attend all scheduled appointments. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please contact the counselor and/or the Career Center as soon as possible. If more than two (2) consecutive appointments are canceled or considered "no show" (more than 10 minutes past the scheduled start time), a student's ability to make appointments may be suspended and they must attend a drop-in session.
How to make an appointment:
- Go to mycoyote.csusb.edu
- Login to your MyCoyote account
- Select the "Employment Opportunities" icon.
- This will take you to the Employment Opportunites page.
- Select the Handshake icon on the Employment Opportunities page.
- This will take you to your Handshake profile.
