CAL Advising offers Staff Advising appointments. Please feel free to schedule your academic advising appointment using Navigate on myCoyote under My Academics. We also have an online guide to help you if you get lost or need a little help.
CAL Advising also offers Peer Advising on a drop-in basis to assist students with one term of schedule planning, review program requirements via PAWS, and address general academic & university-related questions.
Our office is located in University Hall, UH-203, and we are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Welcome to CAL Advising
Our Mission:
The primary purpose of the Academic Advising Center for the College of Arts and Letters at California State University San Bernardino is to assist our undergraduate students in the development and implementation of their educational plans and serve as a resource for all students that walk through our doors and utilize our services. We commit to incorporating a variety of advising practices and understand there is not a one size fits all advising approach for our students.
We aim to create a place where students can seek guidance, help, and support. We also pride ourselves in working closely with both our Academic and other Support Departments to facilitate relationships between students, Faculty Advisors and Career Counselors. We subscribe to a philosophy that it takes a village to support our students and assist them in achieving their educational goals and career success.

To empower our students to be proactive, responsible scholars that utilize and take full advantage of university resources and opportunities. We strive to promote student success through active advising catering to our student’s needs, while also focusing on student engagement and learning.
