Position Requests

A position number is required whenever a position is going to be posted or filled. The Position Request / Update Form is used when requesting a new permanent or temporary position, or when a campus department is updating an existing position. The form should be filled out by the department designee with as much information as possible, and emailed to the Budget Office at After verifying the information, Budget Office staff will set up the position and then email the request form back to the department with the new position number.
