Quality in Online/Hybrid Teaching

ATI is committed to assisting instructors in their efforts to improve the quality of their online/hybrid teaching. Under the Quality Assurance (QA) program of the Chancellor’s Office, ATI works with TRC to apply for and receive CSU campus grants that enable us to organize trainings, workshops and institutes that help faculty assess and enhance their online/hybrid courses, as well as pursue outside certification for those courses.

Thanks to a new grant from the Chancellor’s Office, in 2017-18 our QA program will:

  • Expand faculty QA training by supporting course certification with the QM or QOLT rubric;
  • Assist faculty with their online and hybrid course redesign efforts by providing a year-long series of workshops on topics relevant to online and hybrid teaching, as well as a summer Online/Hybrid Course Redesign Institute;
  • Assist faculty in developing quality online courses for eventual submission to the CourseMatch program;
