First Year Workshops
Since the university will be enrolling all first-year students in their Fall 2021 classes, a “Pack Enrollment” hold will be placed on your account. This hold will be removed July 12, at which point, you will have the opportunity to review and make changes you see fit.
Please note your class schedule is careful mixture of your declared major required coursework and general education (GE).

Freshmen, during their first year at CSUSB, are required to complete two Freshman Check-In workshops offered by the Office of Advising and Academic Services (one in the Fall and one in the Spring). The workshops will cover resources and information that will help you during your time at CSUSB. Exceptions apply for students who are Undeclared or are part of the EOP program.
The Spring 2021 Freshman Check-In workshop can be completed through an online module.
Access the Spring 2021 online Freshman Check-In.
Some topics in the Spring module are:
- Summer and Fall registration and tips for choosing your classes
- Summer Financial Aid opportunities
