You've got questions, we've got answers! Many faculty have questions about what they can and can't use in the classroom. We are here to help guide you through the process, answer any questions you may have and get you the best course content while also abiding by all applicable copyright laws.
CSUSB supports each individual’s right to his/her intellectual property and expects all members of our university community to comply with federal and state laws and CSU policies. ATI provides regular training on Copyright and how to appropriately, and legally, use copyrighted materials in your courses. Below are additional resources intended to help build a foundational knowledge of copyright, fair use, and the TEACH Act. For assistance with using copyrighted materials in your courses, please contact an instructional designer at ATI or complete a service request form.
Self-Paced Copyright Course
CSUSB has a self-paced copyright course that can be useful to faculty making decisions about fair use, copyright, and other issues related to academic use of copyrighted materials.
