Early Childhood Special Education
In addition to meeting the general requirements of the university for admission as a postbaccalaureate student, admission to the Early Childhood Special Education Certificate requires the following:
- Official admission to the university;
- A valid special education instructional specialist credential;
- Submit documentation of a minimum of 45 hours in an Early Childhood Special Education Program setting;
- A cumulative grade point average of 2.6 in the last 90 quarter units and a 3.0 ("B") in all course work taken in education;
- ESPE 530 and PSYC 305 or their equivalent;
- Minimum of 20 credit hours in special education;
- Attend mandatory Special Education group advising session;
- Meet with assigned faculty advisor to complete Advising Confirmation form.
