CSUSB is building a new, world-class College of Education building for the Inland Empire
New College of Education building will expand and offer new educational, community service and outreach opportunities.
THE NEED FOR NEW FACILITIES:
THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION BUILDINGThe College of Education (COE) since its inception in the late 1960’s has been housed in a variety of buildings throughout the campus. The COE has not had a building to call its own. In the early 1990’s a feasibility study was conducted and plans were laid for a new College of Education building. Now, after 10 years of planning and dreaming, the building is becoming a reality. Faculty and students will come together as a learning, collaborative community. New educational opportunities will open. New community services and outreach will occur through new and expanded centers and clinics.
State funding for new buildings provides only the bare essentials to make the structure operative. Enhancements, clinic, and lab furnishings and meeting spaces all require additional private, corporate and foundation assistance.
