In addition to meeting the general requirements of the university for admission as a postbaccalaureate student, admission to the Level I Education Specialist Instruction Credential: Moderate/Severe Disabilities program requires you submit the following:

Application for Admission to the College of Education

Letter documenting a minimum of 45 hours in a K-12 classroom

Original verification of passing or failing scores on the CBEST - California Basic Educational Skills Test Note: Passing scores required for recommendation for the credential.  See the CBEST Website.

Subject matter competence examination passage - See the CSET/SSAT website

Certificate of Clearance (fingerprinting) or evidence of a credential or permit authorizing public school teaching in California; and fingerprinting. See the CASE web page "Fingerprinting"

Group Advising Session attendance sheet - see "Group Advising Meeting" schedule.

Advisor Confirmation Form demonstrating meeting between you and your assigned advisor. Complete coursework plan draft before meeting with advisor. See "Coursework Plan"
