Welcome to the
Multiple Subjects Credential Program
What is a Multiple Subjects Credential?
A multiple subject credential authorizes a person to teach all students including English language learners in a self-contained classroom (grades K-12 but generally K-6). Teachers with this credential typically teach elementary grades. Persons who obtain a mulitple subjects credential with BCLAD emphasis are authorized to teach ethnically and linguistically diverse students in a self-contained classroom (grades K-12 but generally K-6) using both English and the student's primary language for instruction. In order to receive a multiple subjects credential, candidates must complete the following state requirements.
