Advising

As early as possible, preferably at the beginning of the program, contact your advisor to fill out a draft Program Plan. This will help plan your coursework in the program. After you have completed EDUC 603, EDUC 605, EDUC 607, ETEC 500, ETEC 543, and ETEC 544 you must have your advisor sign your program plan and submit it for approval as part of the advancement to candidacy process. You MUST fill out your program plan with your advisor before you have taken 23 units in the program. Please note that after you have been advanced to candidacy you will need to follow your program plan as it has been approved.
