Program Description

The Doctor of Education Degree Program
The Ed.D. Degree in Educational Leadership prepares students to be reflective practitioners who will enhance their knowledge, skills and dispositions as leaders in the schools.

Curriculum
Completion of the Ed.D. Degree requires 94 quarter units. Most students will complete the program in three years. Students generally take two courses every quarter (including two or more courses each summer). In the third year students focus on completing the dissertation.

Accreditation
California State University, San Bernardino is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The College of Education is also accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at CSUSB is also accredited by WASC.
