The Graduate Reading Program is organized as a three-tiered and
inter-related series of courses along pragmatic and conceptual
lines.
We offer the following three options:

This is a 24-unit program designed to introduce students to basic theoretical
models of reading and literacy as well as course work focused on (i.) foundational
theory and research (ii.) cross-cultural theory and practice, (iii.) curriculum
and instructional practices, and (iv.) assessment and intervention strategies.
Reading Language Arts Specialist Credential

theoretical foundations of reading and literacy in more depth
and extends the study of (i.) foundational theory and research
(ii.) cross-cultural theory and practice, (iii.) curriculum and
